Fault Analysis and Troubleshooting for Air Conditioner

1. The principle of troubleshooting

From indoor to outdoor, side parts to central components, fan motor to compressor. Please listen to and ask the user carefully about the fault and information related, then make a judgment based on your experience and check the units regarding the fault description. Please do not remove any part blindly or the fault might be expanded.

2. Preparations for troubleshooting

1) Please check whether the power supply has voltage and whether the voltage is in accordance with the operation requirements of A/C (single phase: 198V-242V; three phases: 342V-418V);

2) Please check whether the power wire, the indoor and outdoor connecting line is correct and reliable;

3) Please check whether the wire insulation is damaged.

3. Troubleshooting

		compressor is not sucking or discharging	rotor is cracked	replace the compressor
	no refrigerant	leakage		find the leakage points and fill refrigerant after repairing welding.
poor cooling	The setting temp of the remote controller is too high.			Turn down the setting temp.
	room is not sealed enough			seal the room
	filter is too dirty			clean the filter
	evaporator or condenser is too dirty			clean the evaporator or condenser
	revolving speed of fan motor is slow	capacitor decays		replace the capacitor
	revolving speed of fan motor is slow	winding resistance of fan motor is less than normal		replace the fan motor
	refrigerant is not enough	leakage		find the leakage points and fill refrigerant after repairing welding
	poor air exhaustion	it’s blocked with sundries		clean the sundries
Noisy	fan blade vibrates	fan blade is cracked		replace the fan blade
Noisy	bearing of fan motor is wearing			replace the fan motor
water leakage	water plate is filth blockage			clean up the dirty stuff
	evaporator is too dirty			clean the evaporator
	evaporator frost	refrigerant is not enough		find the leakage points and fill refrigerant after repairing welding
		revolving speed of fan motor is too slow	capacitor decays	replace the capacitor
		revolving speed of fan motor is too slow	winding resistance of fan motor is less than normal	replace the fan motor
Cannot remote controlling	strong light resource exists nearby			replace the A/C or adjust position of the light resource
	remote controller fault	remote controller is locked		open the remote controller
		no battery or the battery lacks of power		put the battery in or replace the battery
